Nestled along a paved laneway, Quick Brown Fox is housed in an 1840s sandstone dwelling turned eatery where old-world charm meets contemporary dining. With our unique architecture and design, QBF is the perfect place to celebrate life milestones with your nearest & dearest.

Our charming little corner cottage is one in a string of heritage terraces on Union Street leading up to Union Square, all built in the 1800s from sandstone – or yellow block, as it was known – sourced from Pyrmont’s then-famous quarries. Stepping inside, you feel the history and stories in our walls, with original features like the exposed timber beams and fireplaces preserved and serving as a link to the past.

FAQs

  • We require a minimum of 30 guests to rent our space.

    For a standing event, there is a maximum of 90 guests.

    For a seated event, 50 seated internal and 36 seated external, weather permitting.

  • 4.5 hours

  • On Monday through Friday, there is a minimum spend after 3pm of $4,000.

    On Saturday & Sunday, there is a minimum spend after 3pm of $6,000.

  • Absolutely! We have partnered with some amazing vendors that can take care of styling, cakes, signage, florals, etc.

  • Yes! We work with our friends at Soundagents, Sydney's premier entertainment group.

    A 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your booking, no later than 1 week prior the desired date of the event.
